Greetings as we begin to feel the change of season and give thanks for rain.
This Sunday St Michael’s are celebrating Harvest Festival at which Elizabeth, our ordinand will be preaching, while the 9am service in All Saints will be of the second week of Creationtide. All are welcome at both services, each of which will be a sung Eucharist.
The Last Night of The Proms comes to St Michael’s on Saturday – doors open at 6pm with wine and canapes. Live screening begins 7.15 ending 9.15. Union Jack flags to wave will be on sale along with local Lavender bags. All proceeds will go to the Restore our Roof Fund.
A challenge if we raise a £1000+ that evening. A benefactor has generously offered to match the grand total. How wonderful is that? Bring along a group of friends, family and neighbouurs for what promises to be a great evening!
