Organ recital
Thursday September 10th 1.10 pm in St Nicolas Newbury.
Stephen Holmes, the organist and musical director of Saint Michal’s, is giving the lunchtime recital at 1.10 pm on Thursday September 10th in St Nicolas Church, Newbury. The programme will include works by Buxtehude, Stainer and Duruflé. Admission is free and there is a retiring collection.

Festival of Music
Saturday 26th September 7 pm in St Michael and All Angels’ Lambourn.
Special guest singers from Kennet Opera will be singing some of their favourite operatic hit classics. There will also be organ and piano music from Stephen and Susan. The concert is in aid of the Restore our Roof Appeal, and the Organ Restoration Fund.
This year, we are delighted to be featuring the Lambourn Handbell Ringers (the Lambourn Chimers) – a great opportunity to hear these angelic instruments up close! This family-friendly concert is free and open to all, with no booking needed. It should be an excellent evening.
