The clergy is here to help anyone who is dealing with a death or bereavement; please feel free to contact the clergy at any stage. Anyone who lives in the benefice is entitled to have a Christian minister conduct their funeral whether in a parish church or at a crematorium and we will be pleased to help whether you have any church connection or not. Part of our role is to liaise with undertakers and ensure that appropriate arrangements are in place.
The churchyard at Saint Michael and All Angels, Lambourn is closed for burials except the interment of ashes following a cremation; Lambourn burials take place at the cemetery in Upper Lambourn. Burials still take place at All Saints, East Garston and Saint James, Eastbury.
The Church of England website www.churchofengland.org has lots of information if you follow the links through to funerals. The clergy is available to help you with any aspect of planning a funeral.
