By the time that you read this article we will have celebrated Mothering Sunday and held our Annual Parochial Church Meeting. Next month’s article will contain a report on these.
We will then be looking forward to Palm Sunday on 9th April which will again take the form of a “rolling service”. We will start with a Service of the Word at 9.30 am in All Saints and then process to Eastbury along the old railway track (Lambourn Valley Way) for a 10.45 am Holy Communion Service in St James.
During Holy Week there will be a service of Holy Communion in All Saints at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 12th April. On Good Friday, we hope that as many members of our benefice that can make it will join with attendees of the other churches in the valley for a Walk of Witness through Lambourn. Our Easter Day Family Communion Service will be at 9.00 am.
