Thoughts from The Vicarage with a concert and a request
Greetings as we move into July with Wimbledon in full swing along with Women’s Euro 2022 football!

Firstly, a reminder that George Bodman’s funeral is this Thursday at 2pm in St Michael & All Angels Lambourn. Apologies for any concern about the time change which came in after Thoughts had gone out!
Earlier in the week the Valley’s very own Susan Holmes is playing in a concert as part of the Hungerford summer Festival at 1.30 on Monday 4th July. She is accompanying the soprano Claire Bessent and will also be playing some solo pieces. The concert will last an hour and tickets are £7.50. Further information and tickets are here. Why not get a group together to go out locally and support her?

At the PCC meeting of St Michael & All Angels Lambourn a new social event and fund raiser offered his services to the church. If you have some brilliant ideas for any social events and fund raising or would like to be involved, please do let Ian Courtney know. 07849 102643. The more the merrier and all suggestions welcomed!
St James Eastbury will be holding their PCC on Monday 4th July at 6pm.
Finally, we have James and Julie getting married in Lambourn at 11am on Saturday (tomorrow) and the baptism of Ava Ward on Sunday. Please do remember them in your prayers.
