Dear Friends
The thoughts today are plentiful! *But* time has run out on me … but I have received three very beautiful gifts today that I’d love to share.
The first was an envelope from a Lambourn CE Primary school family containing precious courgette seeds for Mr Vicarage’s great allotment project. And the second was a poem written in these pandemic times and finally a version of The Lord’s Prayer shared by one of our readers.
I’m sharing them because they speak of how the most valuable items we possess are priceless and cost nothing.
The love of God is like that. At the heart of our faith is the belief that God is love. We are a people loved by God and are compelled to share that love with others, to live lives which are reflections of the love God has for the world. So very thankful today for that love expressed in these priceless gifts. What have you received today – before the ending of the day say a little thank you. . .
Have to go now as Belinda church mouse is reminding me to go and pray with a dear friend … maybe see you at Compline tonight or Morning Prayer tomorrow morning,
Every blessing
Julie
